Nikon NX Studio Free Download For Windows 7 & 10 64-Bit

Get the latest setup of NX Studio by managing this page. Basically, it is a free, downloadable image editor and management tool that works with Nikon digital cameras. It’s not a replacement for Lightroom, Captures One, or Luminar, but it has a workflow that appeals to many photographers.

Getting Started

The first thing you need to do is create a new workspace in NX Studio. You can do this by clicking on the “New Workspace” button in the upper-right corner of the program, then clicking “File.” This will open a pop-up menu that lets you select the new workspace you want to use. You can also choose to have NX Studio create a new folder to store your images in, which is handy if you need to keep them separate from other files.

Working With RAW Files

As with Capture NX-D and ViewNX-i, NX Studio can handle RAW files from all Nikon models. But in this case, they are stored in a sidecar file format that enables the software to process them without any loss of data. This makes it much more compatible with older Nikon cameras, and you can even convert a raw image to DNG if you want.

NX Studio has a number of options for making global and individual color adjustments. The first, the Lightness, Chroma, and Hue Adjustment, uses a rainbow of color filters to help you change a wide range of hue, chroma, and brightness values. This is a great way to correct color in your images, and it’s an excellent alternative to the traditional hue, saturation, and luminance (HSL) controls in other image editing programs.

You can set the angle and width of the rainbow to customize your edits, and you can use an eyedropper to select a particular color and then drag it up or down to modify its parameters. There are also more advanced options, including the ability to change the position of the rainbow based on its current color, so that you can focus your edits on a specific area.

Nik Collection

The Nik Collection is a series of seven desktop plug-ins that allow you to add effects and retouching tools to your photos with ease. They include Analog Efex Pro, Viveza, and Color Efex Pro, which are all incredibly easy to use, while HDR Efex and Dfine are more advanced photo-editing tools that can help you create amazing images.

Nik Collection is available for both Windows and Mac OS, and it includes a variety of powerful photo-editing tools that are perfect for professional and amateur photographers alike. It also has a selection of Nik’s famous filters and effects.

Floating palettes let you arrange the workspace to suit your workflow needs, and they can be displayed on multiple monitors. It supports Nikon’s Picture Controls, and it can be used to batch process your images as well as do levels and curve adjustments.

Photo Management

The Thumbnail List View is a handy tool for locating your images in a more intuitive and less cluttered fashion than a Lightroom-style catalog system. You can sort through your images by exposure information, date modified, and file size, which is a great way to see the most recent changes to each photo.
